Positive Polly News!

Both of our Cheerleaders of the Week this week are the definition of what a Positive Polly should be. When the going gets tough, these girls get happier!

Friday at the game we had SO much excitement that I did not have a chance to announce our Varsity Cheerleader of the Week. I would like to announce her now instead of waiting until practice on Thursday so that we can all be proud of her for a whole week! Our Cheerleader of the Week is Emilie Allen. When others let negative energy in, Emilie is working her hardest to push positive energy out. Emilie is a silent leader. It may go unnoticed at times all that she does because she is so humble, but there is nothing Emilie won't do for her team and her friends. She puts the hours in working on stunting and tumbling as well and working on relationships. Emilie, we are so thankful to have you and be a part of your senior year!

This week's Varsity and JV Cheerleader of the Week is Whitney Long!! Whitney is a first year cheerleader and we couldn't be more proud of how far she has come in just 5 short months. Even when others are stressed and tired, Whitney always continues to keep a smile on her face. You can work years to build talent and athleticism, but it takes a special person to have the personality to make others smile and bring spirits up. Great job Whitney! We LOVE watching you grow!

We had an amazing Friday night! A huge win for the Falcons over Bayside, our very own Audrey got asked to homecoming and we cheered beside our tiniest Falcons! When it gets hard to keep your pep up remember - you are surrounded by people who need your spirit!!! Keep up the hard work!

All cheerleaders who are on sideline, but NOT on comp - please bring your black uniform to Coach Maegan directly after school tomorrow. Your uniforms are officially over due. If they are not in my hands tomorrow you will receive demerits. Thank you!

JV - please RSVP to this week's team dinner if you have not already. Don't forget - good leaders are courteous!

JV - you must be back at the field by 5:30 on Thursday

Varsity - please be at the school by 5:00 on Friday. Attached are your assignments for loading and unloading mats, poms, signs, etc. onto the bus. If this system works we will use it for all future games and rotate which section does before/ which does after.

If you owe money to the cheer account, this money is due immediately. If your money is not turned in you will not be eligible to cheer. If you have questions I am always happy to respond to emails within 24 hours

For Beach District on Wednesday 10/5 please plan to stay after school.and ride the bus to Tallwood. The bus will be leaving Cox at 3:30 pm. A full information sheet is attached! Please let me know if you have any comp questions at practice tomorrow :) I need to know by tomorrow if anyone will need a ride home on the bus Wednesday. The school has said that cheerleaders can ride home with parents, so I need to know if there will be a need for a returning bus. I will have room in my car to bring 5 cheerleaders home.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come out and support our team Wednesday at the Beach Distric Comp. All non-comp sideline cheerleaders that want to attend please coordinate outfits, make signs and  come show your spirit. If you want to come and need a ride let me know ASAP!

Let's don't forget about our upcoming recipe book and carwash/cashola! PLEASE let me know what you can bring!!! We need all car washing items such as hoses, towels, soap, rags, step ladders, etc. THANK YOU!

Ideas and suggestions for our October Team Bonding are very welcome at this time!! I think we are all ready to bond a little and remember why we love being a team and being together!
